Despite being the original Mary Poppins , Aquaman is where you will find Julie Andrews lending her voice this holiday season. The iconic actress is lending her voice to Karathen, a mythical sea creature that will be helping Aquaman (Jason Momoa) broker a peace treaty between Atlantis and the land dwellers according to Variety.
It’s an odd occurrence as Mary Poppins Returns is hitting theaters in the same month. One would have thought that is where she would appear, but instead she’ll be underwater. Fine with us, just another great talent joining Aquaman.
Aquaman will hit theaters in the U.S. on Dec. 21.
