Zack Snyder Shares Photo of His Deleted Justice League Cameo

“The Snyder Cut” has a whole new meaning for Justice League. In addition to meaning the version of the film shot and edited by Zack Snyder, it now covers the director’s literal presence in the movie. Snyder had a cameo in the film that was left on the cutting room floor.

Snyder shared a photo of his Justice League cameo on Vero. As you can see in the image below, Snyder was in the background of a shot featuring Lois Lane (Amy Adams). According to the director, Lane was on her way to pay her respects to her lost love, Clark Kent, in Heroes Park.

Snyder’s position in the scene is an Easter egg in its own right. Snyder is in a fake coffee shop mimicking the way he drew up this scene in a real-life coffee shop. It would have been fun to see Snyder pop up this way. I love the meta quality he gave his performance as a background actor.

This comes on the heels of Snyder giving us a look at Darkseid last week. The director has previously shared a photo of the film’s original ending and confirmed that Ryan Choi, the Atom, was cut.

Warner Bros. may never release another version of Justice League. The studio may just stick with the theatrical cut from now until the end of time. At least we have Zack Snyder, though, who is willing to share what he can to give fans a glimpse of his original intentions.
