DC Universe has released a teaser video and character posters for the Doom Patrol ahead of its Feb. 15 debut.
With the season finale of Titans debuting today, DC Universe is ready to start promoting its next live-action series, Doom Patrol. We meet part of the team in the fourth episode of the Titans, “Doom Patrol,” but clearly we didn’t meet everyone.
The teaser gives us a quick glimpse into the personalities of the teammates as they gather for some group photos.
The cast includes Matt Bomer as Larry Trainor/Negative Man, Brendan Fraser as Cliff Steele/Robotman, April Bowlby as Elasti-Woman, Diane Guerrero as Crazy Jane, Joivan Wade as Victor Stone/Cyborg, and Timothy Dalton as Dr. Niles Caulder/The Chief.
Doom Patrol will make the second live-action series original from DC Universe. Swamp Thing is currently filming to be the third, while Stargirl seems to have new casting announcements daily.
DC Universe will be the exclusive home to Doom Patrol in the U.S. with no announcements as of yet for foreign distribution. Titans went to Netflix outside of the U.S. so it seems resonable to think that would be the first choice for other series as well.
