The tide has turned. Once the butt of many jokes, DC’s Aquaman is now the cool aquatic hero (I know, he was always cool). Apparently, the world still needs an oceanic character to make fun of and Marvel’s Namor has been selected. Namor (Billy Eichner) isn’t very happy about it and expressed his frustration on Jimmy Kimmel Live!
For the record, I’ve always enjoyed both Aquaman and Namor. They’re not the same just because they’re both members of underwater civilizations. They can both have their day in the cinematic sun, but this day clearly belongs to Aquaman.
