That’s a wrap on Wonder Woman 1984! Gal Gadot announced the news on her Instagram today thanking the nearly 1,000 crew members who helped make the film. She also shared new photos from the set.
“We did it. Again!!,” Gadot said. “And as much as the first time shooting Wonder Woman was amazing, this time was even more unique and special.”
Gadot continued with heartfelt praise for the leader of the WW84 crew. “I’m so lucky to have the one and only Patty Jenkins as my director. She always has our backs, she gives us the wings to dare, and every day she helped us find the most creative version of ourselves. I am so grateful to call her my friend.”
Jenkins will now enjoy a holiday break before taking Wonder Woman 1984 into post-production. She has plenty of time to get the film ready for theaters, as it’s not scheduled for release until June 5, 2020.
That also means we’re probably a ways off from getting a trailer. The best bet is likely San Diego Comic-Con in July. Still, another DC film is in the can that’s a nice holiday gift for us all.
