Aquaman has the attention of the entire world right now, including Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige. The executive and producer behind the Marvel Cinematic Universe can be counted among the many fans of James Wan’s aquatic adventure.
“I went to see Aquaman last night and I really, really enjoyed it,” Feige told MTV on the red carpet for the Golden Globe Awards. “I’ve always supported [DC movies].”
That much is true. Feige also praised Wonder Woman and has said numerous times over the years that the success of any superhero movie is good for all superhero movies. He roots for all of them, knowing that each one has the power to increase or decrease the audience’s appetite for the genre.

“I don’t see a rivalry,” Feige added when asked about James Gunn working for DC Films on Suicide Squad after begin fired from Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 by Disney. “I see cool films being made and one you thing you know about James Gunn, he makes cool films.”
Once again, we see that the rivalry between Marvel and DC has a greater presence in the minds of fans and press than anywhere else. For the studio executives behind these movies, they know there’s plenty of space in theaters and in the hearts of moviegoers to accommodate both brands.
