
Christian Bale, the Batman of the Christopher Nolan trilogy, has received his fourth Academy Award nomination.
The latest Oscar nomination for Bale comes from his portrayal of Dick Cheney in Annapurna’s film, Vice. He has also been nominated for this role in the British Academy Film Awards, Dorian Awards, and Screen Actors Guild Awards. Additionally, he has already won awards for it such as the Golden Globe and Critics’ Choice Movie Awards.
Bale’s previous Oscar nominations included a Best Actor nomination for American Hustle, and two Best Supporting Actor nominations for The Fighter and The Big Short, the former of which he won.
The Academy Awards will be held on Feb. 24, 2019 at 8:00pm Eastern/5:00pm Pacific.
