It seems that the rumors that Harley and the Joker have broken up in the DCEU may be true afterall.
Actor Robert Catrini took to his Twitter this week to share he would be filming a role in Birds of Prey (And the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn). He also seemingly confirmed the relationship status of the Joker and Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie).

It is unknown who Catrini is playing, but we always take tweets such as this with a pinch of salt. We don’t know if he’s read the entire script, if he’s making assumptions, or something specific in his scene(s) tell him this information. There has been some other evidence on set of them having broken up based on her tattoos, but there is also evidence of her wearing a “J” necklace.
In other words, we’ll know for sure when Warner Bros. wants us to know. Until then it’s all assumptions and speculation. Our feeling is based on the title of the film alone that they are broken up, but we’ll just have to wait and see.
Birds of Prey hits theaters on Feb. 7, 2020.
