Shooting continues on Birds of Prey, and the latest from the set is a video showing a surprising partnership.
It had been assumed from the teaser video that Zsasz (Chris Messina) was working with Roman Sionis/Black Mask (Ewan McGregor). However, in the set video it appears that he is cooperating with Black Canary (Jurnee Smollett-Bell) as they try to chase down Orphan (Ella Jay Basco). After they fail to catch her, they appear to retreat down the street arguing with one another.
The quality of the video unfortunately prevents us from being able to read the city name on the door of the police car. It’s unclear what city this scene is taking place in, but it doesn’t feel very much like something that would be doubling as Gotham.
We’ve now seen Harley (Margot Robbie), Canary, Zsasz, and Orphan on outdoor shoots. All we’re missing is Huntress (Mary Elizabeth Winstead) and Sionis. Something tells us we’ll be seeing them soon.
