
With Toy Fair just hours away from kicking off, DC Collectibles has shared some information about two new product lines it will be introducing. Revealed exclusively via The Hollywood Reporter, the two new lines are completely new areas for the company.
First up is DC ¡Lucha Explosiva!. This new line will see your favorite DC characters re-imagined as Luchadores. Each will have a new backstory that is informed by Mexican history and culture. The first wave of figures will feature Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, the Cheetah, Metallo II, and Deathstroke. You can look for these figures beginning in August 2019.
The second new line will be known as DC Prime. This line will be in the 9-inch range and will be a collaboration between artist Riccardo Federicci and sculptor Wonil Song
Following in October will be the debut of DC Prime, a line of premium-grade 9” action figures created in collaboration between artist Riccardo Federicci and sculptor Wonil Song. Each figure in the line will include custom accessories and will be highly posable. The first figure in the line will be a Batman figure that includes three unique heads, multiple pairs of hands and a wired fabric cape.
