DC Universe has found its Superboy/Conner Kent to go along with Krypto. Joshua Orpin will be taking on the role.
First seen in shadows and silhouette at the end of season 1 of Titans, we now know the role has gone to Joshua Orpin. His previous work includes the Australian series, The Blake Mysteries: Ghost Stories.
As of right now, that is about all that is known about Orpin. We do know he will indeed be playing the Conner Kent version of Superboy that was introduced in 1993, and went on to become a staple of the Young Justice animated series.
Here is the official description of the character from the series producers.
Superboy, aka Conner Kent, is the angsty teenager of steel searching for purpose and the truth about his past. While looking for answers, he crashes into the world of the Titans where he finds an unlikely home and surrogate family as well as revelations that carry more complications than he ever bargained for.
No word as of yet as to when Titans season 2 will debut, but filming is expected to begin in March. We know Jericho is on his way as is Deathstroke. Ravager is in the mix as well. Add in Superboy and rumors of Lex Luthor and it’s just about going to double the cast depending on how many of these are regulars vs recurring.
