Filming on Birds of Prey continues around Los Angeles. Thanks to the choice of city, it’s providing fans with lots of set photos. The latest set to surface, we have to admit, doesn’t explicitly say ‘Birds of Prey’ anywhere on it, and no cast is seen in the images. While we do feel these are from the film, we can not say it with authority as of yet.

It’s clear that green screen is going to be used to extend the set, but otherwise, it seems like a pretty basic carnival that has seen better days.
Of course, in the comics, the Joker has used carnivals extensively as bases for his operations. While there has been absolutely no indication of Joker appearing in the film, it’s not difficult to imagine Harley reusing one of his old bases for her own home, or possibly luring Black Mask (Ewan McGregor) there for a showdown.
Birds of Prey (And the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) will be the first appearance of Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn since Suicide Squad. She will be joined by Mary Elizabeth Winstead as the Huntress, while Jurnee Smollett-Bell will be playing Black Canary. Rosie Perez will be playing Renee Montoya, and Ella Jay Basco as Cassandra Cain as well. And Ewan McGregor joined the cast as Gotham City villain Black Mask. Ali Wong has even joined the cast in an unknown role.
The Birds of Prey movie will hit theaters on Feb. 7, 2020.
