Rumors are popping up left and right in regards to Matt Reeves’ The Batman. While we’re still digesting the latest ones about the setting and script details, now a temporary logo has appeared.
Thomas Polito of Geeks WorldWide shared an image on Twitter recently of what is said to be the temporary working logo for the upcoming film.

There’s no indication of where this image originated from, so we are definitely sprinkling this news with a healthy dose of salt. It also isn’t going unnoticed that the font is very similar to that of Batman the Animated Series.
It’s clearly not exact, but it’s pretty close.
Even if this is indeed a logo for the film, there is nothing saying it will be the final one seen on the suit or in promotional materials. It is not unusual for films to use temporary logos during preproduction, or even use fake titles to hide the production.
We’ll just have to wait and see if this proves to be the real deal or not.
The Batman is currently pegged for a June 25, 2021 release date.
UPDATE: On March 26, 2019, Thomas Polito confirmed that his new information said the logo was indeed fake.
