Following Kevin Tsujihara stepping down as Warner Bros. CEO and Chairman, the company is wasting no time in naming interim leadership.
Warner Bros. announced on Tuesday that a team would be stepping in to take on Tsujihara’s tasks. The team will consist of Toby Emmerich, Charman of Warner Bros. Motion Picture Group; Peter Roth, Warner Bros. Television Group President and CCO; Kim Williams, Warner Bros. Entertainment CFO.
This team will be a temporary situation while the hunt for a new CEO is conducted. Some speculation is pointing to Stacey Snider of 20th Century Fox as his role as Chairman of that studio will expire at 12:02am Eastern on March 20 due to the Disney acquisition.
Tsujihara stepped down on Monday following an investigation into sexual harassment accusations.
No timeline has been established for the CEO hunt, but typically companies like to resolve these quickly to quell uncertainty amongst shareholders.
