James Gunn’s The Suicide Squad is coming together, and that begins with the crew that will be responsible for production. Discussing Film is reporting that Guy Norris has joined the crew for the film.
Norris served as the second unit director and stunt coordinator on Mad Max: Fury Road. More recently, Norris also served as stunt coordinator on Scarlett Johansson’s Ghost in the Shell and Ben Affleck’s Triple Frontier.
Discussing Film doesn’t detail what crewmember role Norris has joined in, but you don’t tend to put a talented stunt coordinator in charge of catering.
The Suicide Squad is due to hit theaters on Aug. 6, 2021, but no word on when production will actually begin as of yet.
