Animated Batman: Hush reveals first image and voice cast

Production is continuing on the animated film of the Batman: Hush storyline, and we’re finally getting a look at it.

You can check out the one image exclusively released through IGN above. And now we have a better idea of the voice cast as well. And yes, there are two Peyton List in the cast, and they are different people.

  • Batman – Jason O’Mara
  • Batgirl – Peyton List (Bunk’d, Jessie)
  • Selina Kyle – Jennifer Morrison
  • Superman – Jerry O’Connell
  • Lois Lane – Rebecca Romijn
  • Lex Luthor – Rainn Wilson
  • Nightwing – Sean Maher
  • Jim Gordon – Bruce Thomas
  • Damian Wayne – Stuart Allan
  • Alfred – James Garrett
  • Thomas Elliott – Maury Sterling
  • Riddler – Geoffrey Arend
  • Amanda Waller – Vanessa Williams
  • Joker – Jason Spisak
  • Bane – Adam Gifford
  • Poison Ivy  – Peyton List (Gotham, Mad Men)
  • Lady Shiva – Dachie Alessio
  • Reporter – Tara Strong

Batman: Hush is being directed by Justin Copeland and written by Ernie Altbacker. Executive Producers are James Tucker, Sam Register, and Benjamin Melniker, and Michael Uslan. Amy McKenna is a Producer, with Co-producers Alan Burnett and Jim Krieg, and Character Designer Phil Bourassa.

For those who may be unfamiliar with the storyline, Bruce’s childhood friend, Thomas Elliott comes back into his life as a new villain named Hush aims to tear down everything Batman holds dear. Heralded by many as the greatest Batman story ever, we can’t wait to see it as an animated film.

No solid release date has been announced as of yet, but it will be some time in the third quarter of 2019.

Correction: This article previously listed one Peyton List voicing both Poison Ivy and Batgirl. It is actually different actors and we have corrected this.
