Birds of Prey set photos show the shoot is happening out in public once again, and it appears that the team may be taking a moment to relax.
New Birds of Prey set photos surfaced from some filming take place on Thursday evening in Los Angeles. It seems that Harley (Margot Robbie) is in the middle of taking some margaritas somewhere. While we don’t see any of the other Birds in the photos, one would assume she is delivering them to the rest of the team. It’s difficult to tell if the expressions of nerves are Harley hoping she doesn’t drop them, or Robbie hoping she doesn’t mess up the shot.
One would assume the glasses are affixed to the tray in some way, but you never know.
Birds of Prey (And the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) will be the first appearance of Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn since Suicide Squad. She will be joined by Mary Elizabeth Winstead as the Huntress, while Jurnee Smollett-Bell will be playing Black Canary. Rosie Perez will be playing Renee Montoya, and Ella Jay Basco as Cassandra Cain as well. And Ewan McGregor joined the cast as Gotham City villain Black Mask. Ali Wong has even joined the cast in an unknown role.
The Birds of Prey movie will hit theaters on Feb. 7, 2020.
