It is well-known that Titans season 1 made some significant changes to its season finale. There is nearly an entire episode of unused footage, and every so often an image surfaces from it.
The latest one shows Rachel (Teagan Croft) standing with Dick (Brenton Thwaites) as they stand opposite a smiling Trigon (Seamus Dever) and Angela (Rachel Nichols).
Some of this footage is being repurposed for the Titans season 2 premiere, but there’s no indication yet if we will see the entire episode.
It’s still unclear how much Trigon will be involved with season 2 of the series. With the Wilson family being introduced, that’s not going to leave a ton of room for other storylines it feels like. Esai Morales has signed on as Slade Wilson/Deathstroke, while Chella Man will play his son Jericho, and Chelsea T. Zhang will take on the role of Rose Wilson.
Currently the cast is prepping for Titans season 2, and DC Universe has now confirmed the season will launch some time this fall.
It sounds like it’s going to be a very full season when it gets here. Here’s hoping it can all be successfully balanced.
