Zachary Levi dropped by The Late Late Show to help James Corden tap into his inner superhero.
Levi presented him with the staff from the Temple of Eternity, and after saying “Shazam!” he does get a costume… that looks a bit more like the old TV version, but it is a costume. Then it came time to test his superpowers, and, well, we aren’t going to spoil that part for you.
While Corden may not make the best Shazam, Levi certainly seems to. With a 93% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, it seems a lot of people agree as well that he definitely was the right person for the job. Now it’s up for the box office to decide the ultimate fate of the film.
Shazam! is already starting to open up around the world, and in the U.S. it will be opening to early showings tonight with the full opening on May 5. Be sure to hit Fandango for tickets if you haven’t already.
