At long last, we’re getting a look at the design for Swamp Thing!
Following the news on Wednesday morning of potential issues with the Swamp Thing series, we finally have received a trailer for season 1. Up until now, no footage had been shown, and nothing was shared that hinted at the design of Swamp Thing himself.
Swamp Thing has been filming since Nov. 2018, and is due to debut on DC Universe on May 31. It marks the third original series for the DC Universe service.
The report that surfaced on Tuesday out of Wilmington, North Carolina was that the crew was told on Tuesday night that the order for season 1 had been cut from 13 episodes to 10 and that the episode was being rewritten to accommodate that. There was some speculation at the time it was due to an uncertain future for DC Universe itself.
Borys Kit of The Hollywood Reporter tweeted on Wednesday afternoon, however, that the service itself appears to be in fine shape.
For now, enjoy the first look at Swamp Thing, and get ready for the premiere on May 31.
