Netflix has released a new Lucifer season 4 trailer, and it appears that Eve (Inbar Lavi) will be making all sorts of problems for Lucifer (Tom Ellis) and friends.
The number one takeaway here is that it looks like Det. Decker (Lauren German) will remember seeing Lucifer’s devil face in the season 3 cliffhanger. It would have been incredibely easy to write that as some sort of memory wipe.
But as with all television dramas, something has to happen to mess things up, and nothing messes things up like the original sinner suddenly reappearing in your night club.
Lucifer ran on the Fox network in the U.S. for three seasons before it was canceled. Thanks to fan outcry, the series ended up being picked up by Netflix for a 10-episode fourth season with options for further episodes. Negotiations came down to the literal last minute of the actor’s contracts as Netflix was having to work to secure the rights to the first three seasons.

Lucifer Season 4 will premiere May 8 on Netflix.
