April 30 is Gal Gadot’s birthday, and to celebrate Patty Jenkins wished her well with a new photo from Wonder Woman 1984.
This feels a bit more like a birthday present for all the fans as it has been so long since we saw anything from the sequel.

There’s no indication, of course, of what is happening here, and the only confirmation we truly have that it is is from the film is Jenkins’ hashtag of #WW1984.
Originally scheduled to release on Nov. 1, 2019, Wonder Woman 1984 was pushed back seven months in Oct. 2018. This has caused a rather large gap in any sort of new information about the film coming out as it is far too early to promote it when it’s still 13 months out from release. Hopefully by the time we get to around October when The Joker is hitting theaters we might start getting our first trailers.
Wonder Woman 1984 will hit theaters on June 5, 2020.
