The CW has released the first Batwoman trailer, and it looks like Gotham is in need of some assistance.
We had heard some rumors that Batwoman would begin before we met her in the Elseworlds crossover, and that looks to be the fact now. We learn that Batman has deserted Gotham, and Kate Kane (Ruby Rose) has returned to help an old friend. While looking for ways to rescue her from Alice (Rachel Skarsten), Kate while discover what lurks beneath Wayne Tower.
It’s clear the Batwoman costume will quickly undergo some modifications, but it will be interesting to see how that develops over the early part of the series. We’re also curious how long we will spend with this time period as Batwoman is scheduled to be a part of the Crisis on Infinite Earths storyline in the fall.
We’ll be tuning in to Batwoman for sure.
