DC Universe has released another Swamp Thing trailer, and this time the focus is on Alec Holland.
While the last teaser was more of a general piece about the swamp, this one is very much about telling us who Alec Holland is and giving us an idea of what may be happening.
It appears that it is very definitely borrowing from the Alan Moore run on the series. This isn’t too much of a surprise as we know that props were being constructed for the Parliament of Trees, but those weren’t finished due to the episode order being cut.
The look of the series is promising, but we are definitely approaching with caution following the episode order cut. We’ll withhold judgment until we see it, of course, and these trailers are definitely giving us some hope.
Swamp Thing is currently scheduled to premiere on DC Universe on May 31.
