Epix has released a new Pennyworth trailer along with a poster showing off the series.
The latest Pennyworth trailer finally gives us a look into the plot of the series, and how exactly Alfred Pennyworth (Jack Bannon) comes to meet Thomas Wayne (Ben Aldridge). It also shows us a bit of why Alfred is willing to get involved in this mess Wayne finds himself in seeing as other trailers have shown him swearing off violence.
As we’ve said before, the more we see of this series, the more intrigued we become. This trailer wa sno different.
From Warner Horizon Scripted Television, DC origin story Pennyworth is a ten-episode, one-hour drama series based on DC characters created by Bob Kane with Bill Finger. It follows Bruce Wayne’s legendary butler, Alfred Pennyworth (Jack Bannon), a former British SAS soldier who forms a security company and goes to work with Thomas Wayne (Ben Aldridge), Bruce’s billionaire father, in 1960’s London.
Pennyworth premieres on Epix on July 28.
