I think that we can rightly say that Stjepan Šejić is a rising star in the comics industry. His work on Aquaman with Dan Abnett was just wonderful, and any time his name pops up on a title I certainly take notice.
This fall, Šejić will flex his creative muscles as both writer and artist as he reimagines Harley Quinn’s origin for DC’s Black Label. In the three issue miniseries Harleen, Dr. Harleen Quinzel seems to have found a cure for madness, so who does she choose to test her theory? Why, the inmates at Arkham Asylum, of course.
I’m sure things will be fine.
The monthly miniseries will be available beginning this September, so in the meantime here’s a first look at Šejić’s interiors.
