Jaden Smith has an odd relationship with Batman. The young actor has been known to don an all-white Batsuit and wear it to events such as the wedding of Kanye West and Kim Kardashian.
Smith really, really loves Batman.
Speaking with Rolling Stone recently about his various projects, Smith was asked about his feelings on Robert Pattinson getting the role.
Oh my gosh, I don’t even know what to say. Amazing things are happening every day that you don’t even know. I don’t even know. I’m at a loss for words with how excited I am for him. It has to happen. It has to f—– happen. He will be the best Batman. I’m losing my f—— s—.
We think it’s safe to say that Pattinson has Smith’s stamp of approval to play the character in Matt Reeves’ The Batman. While it’s not essential, of course, that anyone other than Reeves approves of the casting at this stage, it’s still interesting to see how people react to the concept.
Currently, we’re still waiting to hear who will be taking on the roles of the villains. With rumors pointing to six villains in this film, it looks as though there’s a lot of casting still to be done. Hopefully, those announcements will begin rolling in soon.
The Batman is due to hit theaters on June 25, 2021.
