All of the CW Arrowverse shows are going back into production, including the mothership series, Arrow. The only difference this year is that this will be the final season. The cast and crew took to Twitter to share some photos from behind the scenes.
First up is showrunner Beth Schwartz who shared a photo of the first episodes script cover. It doesn’t give us a lot of information other than the episode will be entitled “Starling City.”
Then Stephen Amell shared a photo of the clapper board for the first day of filming.
It was announced in March that Arrow would be ending this season with a shortened run of just 10 episodes. This will also include this year’s big crossover of Crisis on Infinite Earths. This has led many to theorize that everything will end with the death of Oliver, but we’ll just have to wait and see what happens.
This may not be the end of Arrow, however, but there are rumors that there may be a spinoff coming down the road. And it won’t be difficult for other characters to pop back up as there will still be Supergirl, The Flash, Legends of Tomorrow, and Batwoman on the air. Amell may be hanging up his bow, but it certainly looks as though this mini-universe is far from done.
Arrow will premiere on Tuesday, Oct. 15.
