DC Universe Online finally lands on the Nintendo Switch

The day has finally arrived, and DC Universe Online is now available on the Nintendo Switch.

Teased for months, the release of DCUO on the Switch was given a date last month at San Diego Comic-Con. Aug. 6 got her fairly quickly, and the game is now aviable for your Switch. This is a big deal for the game as it now means that you can take it with you on the go thanks to the portable nature of Nintendo’s latest console.

“DC Universe Online is the ultimate Super Hero fantasy,” said SJ Mueller, Creative Director of DC Universe Online.  “Who hasn’t imagined what their own Super Hero would look like or what superpowers they’d have? Then hit the streets of Gotham City and Metropolis and partner with the greats like Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, or even The Joker. In DCUO, it’s YOUR character, with the DC Universe as your playground to either protect or conquer!”

There are currently more than 30 episodes avaialble with more on the way. DC’s Dark Nights: Metal series will be joining later this year with Episode 35: Metal – Part I releasing in Sept. and Episode 36: Metal – Part II releasing in Dec.

What are you waiting for? Jump in via the Nintendo eShop and start customizing a character. (I’m building a Firestorm clone… just try to stop me.)
