The CW is giving us a slow dribble of teasers and promos for Batwoman as the series debut draws closer. This time around its focused on Alice (Rachel Skarsten), the woman who is her greatest enemy.

As anyone who has read the comics knows, Batwoman and Alice have a deep connection, but we don’t know as of yet if the series will be following the exact same plot. We’ll just have to wait and see where this version goes.

If Skarsten’s name sounds familiar, it should. This is actually her second foray into the streets of Gotham having previously played Dinah Lance on the 2002 TV series, Birds of Prey. This time, however, she will be on the other side of the law.

Batwoman was introduced to the Arrowverse during last year’s crossover, Elseworlds. It was then ordered to pilot, and then was picked up to series.

The series will star Ruby Rose as Kate Kane as she returns to Gotham and learns to become Gotham’s protector. She will be joined by Meagan Tandy as Sophie Moore, Camus Johnson as Luke Fox, Nicole King as Mary Hamilton, Dougray Scott as Jacob Kane, and Elizabeth Anweis as Catherine Hamilton-Kane.

Batwoman will premiere on The CW on Oct. 6.
