The full Joker trailer has arrived, and it shows one man’s slow descent into madness.
This trailer gives us a bit more of a look into what leads to Arthur Fleck (Joaquin Phoenix) putting on the clown makeup to become the Joker. It seems it is a case of Fleck being beaten down – both figuratively and literally – at every turn of his life. Everyone has a breaking point, and clearly, Fleck hits that wall.
Joker stars Joaquin Phoenix as Arthur Fleck along with Zazie Beetz, Robert De Niro, Bill Camp, Frances Conroy, Brett Cullen, Glenn Fleshler, Douglas Hodge, Marc Maron, Josh Pais, and Shea Whigham.
Joker hits theaters on Oct. 4, 2019.
