It seems that a new Birds of Prey teaser is on the way at long last.
To date, the only footage officially released for Birds of Prey (And The Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) has been a teaser released as filming commenced back in January of this year. With the film just under six months from release now, it appears that we’re finally going to see some marketing.
According to Trailer Track, a Birds of Prey teaser has surfaced for certification by Germany’s FSK. There’s no definitive information as to which film this will be attached to, but the speculation is It: Chapter Two as it hits theaters on Sept. 6.
The disappointing piece of information is that the Birds of Prey teaser is listed as being under 40-seconds. It will more than likely not show us anything too substantial, but we’ll just have to wait to see how it’s cut together before we know for sure.
Birds of Prey (And the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) will be the first appearance of Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn since Suicide Squad. She will be joined by Mary Elizabeth Winstead as the Huntress, while Jurnee Smollett-Bell will be playing Black Canary. Rosie Perez will be playing Renee Montoya, and Ella Jay Basco as Cassandra Cain as well. And Ewan McGregor joined the cast as Gotham City villain Black Mask.
The Birds of Prey movie is scheduled to hit theaters on Feb. 7, 2020.
