The CW has shared additional photos from the Supergirl season 5 season premiere.
While it’s clear there is a lot of action in the theater for some reason, the big reveal here is Azie Tesfai as Kelly Olsen. With James (Mehcad Brooks) leaving the series this season, his departure needs to be set up, and this probably starts it.
Additionally, The CW has released the first teaser for the new season of Supergirl, and it’s clear we’re going to get a Lena (Katie McGrath) faceoff with Kara (Melissa Benoist).
Supergirl will have its fifth season premiere on Oct. 6. As with all of the Arrowverse shows this season, expect everything in the early episodes to be building to the Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover that kicks off on Dec. 8.
