DC Collectibles has unveiled the 101st statue in the Batman Black & White series. Armored Batman is based on the artwork of Frank Miller from his 1986 Batman storyline, The Dark Knight Returns.
The 101st Batman Black & White statue was unveiled this past Saturday at a special event at FAO Schwarz in New York City. It won’t be available until sometime during the summer of 2020, however.
With the Black & White series pulling in designs from big names such as Todd McFarlane for the 100th statue, and now Frank Miller, you have to wonder what other classic artists may be next. There are, after all, 80 years worth of inspiration.
