Deadline reported on Monday that Jeffrey Wright (Westworld) was in talks to play Commissioner Gordon in The Batman. Minutes after the report went out, however, Wright took to his Twitter to certainly lay down a clue or confirmation depending on how you want to vier it. We’re leaning towards it being a confirmation.
Casting news has been scarce on The Batman ever since it was announced that Robert Pattinson would take on the titular role.
Things seem to be finally moving, and The Batman is due to hit theaters on June 25, 2021.
