The first photo of Brandon Routh as the Kingdom Come Superman for the Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover has arrived, and he’s ready for a fight!
We’ve known for some time now that Routh would be returning to the role of Superman in the crossover. We later learned it was as the Kingdom Come version, and now we finally have a photo, and it looks awesome.
Routh last played Superman in Bryan Singer’s Superman Returns. In the Arrowverse he has regularly played Ray Palmer, The Atom. There has been no confirmation if he will play both parts in the Crisis on Infinite Earths, but we’ll take him just as Superman if we must.
Crisis on Infinite Earths will be split over the winter break. Supergirl will kick things off on Dec. 8, Batwoman will follow on Dec 9, and The Flash will air on Dec. 10.
Things will then pick back up on Jan. 14 with Arrow, and will wrap up with Legends of Tomorrow on the same night.
