It looks as though DC is going to be fully embracing having another digital platform at its disposal. According to a new report, an Adam Strange series is in development and HBO Max may be the target for its home.
According to a report from Geeks WorldWide with the end of Krypton having arrived, Adam Strange is back in play for new projects. Top of that list is his own solo series with no connection to the version played Shaun Sipos.
The odd twist here is that HBO Max is said to be the likely home for the series should it move forward. It was just announced that a DMZ pilot is in the works for the upcoming streaming service as well. One has to wonder why DC Universe is not the preferred home for all of these projects. There have been numerous reports that the DC streaming service is in no danger, but you do have to wonder what the plan is at the moment.
No word on a timeline for production on this Adam Strange series, so keep your eyes open for future updates.
