Lucifer reportedly set to appear in Crisis on Infinite Earths

Lucifer

If a new set report is accurate, a bit of the supernatural is coming to the Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover.

According to Canadagraphs – who has a proven track record when it comes to CW set reports – a certain well-suited Prince of Darkness was seen on set Friday night for the Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover. Reportedly, Tom Ellis was seen on set with David Ramsey, Katherine McNamara, and Matt Ryan and was indeed dressed in his Lucifer style clothing.

We have to admit, the idea of Ryan’s Constantine talking with Ellis’ Lucifer is exciting, but we’re just not sure if this massive crossover is where we would have liked it to happen. We’ll take it, however.

If accurate, this actually leaves us with a few more questions about the overall crossover. We know that the one-season Birds of Prey is even going to be acknowledged, but everything we’ve heard is that none of the DC Universe shows will be mentioned. If Lucifer can be acknowledged, it just seems that much odder that the Titans aren’t showing up in some way.  Perhaps that will change, but we aren’t expecting it to.

Crisis on Infinite Earths will be split over the winter break. Supergirl will kick things off on Dec. 8, Batwoman will follow on Dec 9, and The Flash will air on Dec. 10.

Things will then pick back up on Jan. 14 with Arrow, and will wrap up with Legends of Tomorrow on the same night.
