It seems that Lucifer star Tom Ellis picked the wrong time to visit a friend in Vancouver.
Speaking with Entertainment Tonight, Ellis was promoting the fifth and final season of Lucifer when that Crisis on Infinite Earths rumor came up.
“This is what happens. I go to Vancouver for the weekend to visit my friend for his birthday and now suddenly I’m in a different show,” said Ellis. He was asked specifically about being spotted on the set and simply replied, “No. Hard pass. Sorry. Sorry fans.”
Seeing that Crisis on Infinite Earths is pulling in everyone under the sun, it’s not too surprising someone got caught in the crossfire. It seems that Ellis just picked the wrong time to be in Vancouver.
Unless, of course, he’s lying, but we don’t think he is.
Crisis on Infinite Earths will be split over the winter break. Supergirl will kick things off on Dec. 8, Batwoman will follow on Dec 9, and The Flash will air on Dec. 10.
Things will then pick back up on Jan. 14 with Arrow, and will wrap up with Legends of Tomorrow on the same night.
