Superman may be flying to The CW on a more regular basis as it has been revealed that a Superman & Lois series is in development.

Warner Bros. TV has revealed that it is working on a Superman & Lois series to star Tyler Hoechlin and Elizabeth Tulloch respectively. Hoechlin has been appearing on Supergirl for some time now, and Tulloch first appeared as Lois Lane in the Elseworlds crossover. Both of them will be reprising their roles in this year’s Crisis on Infinite Earths.

Todd Helbing, the former showrunner on The Flash, will be writing the pilot and will serve as executive producer. He will be joined by Greg Berlanti, Sarah Schechter and Geoff Johns.

The CW appears to be filling its shelves yet again with DC properties. Arrow is on the way out, but a Green Arrow and the Canaries spinoff starring Katherine McNamara, Katie Cassidy Rodgers, and Juliana Harkavy is in the works as you read this. Add in Superman & Lois, and it’s clear that the network has plans to stay in the superhero game for some time to come.
