Patty Jenkins took to the stage on Sunday at CCXP in Brazil to debut a new look at Kristen Wiig as Barbara Ann Minerva in Wonder Woman 1984.
The new look matches closely to the coffee mug merchandise spotted on the show floor a few days ago. While the design keeps showing Wiig’s Minerva in cheetah print clothing, but that doesn’t mean we won’t see her in some type of cheetah form before the end of the film.
Jenkins did confirm on stage that the character “gets to a place” where CGI was used to enhance practical effects. So don’t worry, there is something coming for the Cheetah.
How far will it go? We’ll just have to wait and see.
Wonder Woman 1984 will hit theaters on June 5, 2020.
