The Birds of Prey soundtrack is shaping up, and the music videos are being shot. It looks as though at least two of them will be taking on the aesthetics of the movie.
First to post anything was Doja Cat who showed images of her filming the video for her new song, “Boss Bitch.”
In the photos she posted she showed off holding Harley’s “Good Night” bat, and holding on to a bazooka while wearing harlequin style gloves.
Next up is Megan Thee Stallion and her video shoot.
She can be seen in the video shoot holding Harley’s mallet while performing in a funhouse atmosphere. Also shown in the photos is former Fifth Harmony member Normani, so it’s a collaboration. The name of the song was later revealed to be “Diamonds.”
Other artists rumored to be on the soundtrack include Halsey and Little Mix.
The Suicide Squad soundtrack was a huge hit, and was the only movie soundtrack to be certified Gold in 2016. Seeing as it went on to score five Grammy nominations, it’s not too surprising that Warner Bros. may be attempting to replicate that success.
No word as of yet to when these music videos will make their debuts.
Birds of Prey (And the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) will be the first appearance of Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn since Suicide Squad. She will be joined by Mary Elizabeth Winstead as the Huntress, while Jurnee Smollett-Bell will be playing Black Canary. Rosie Perez will be playing Renee Montoya, and Ella Jay Basco as Cassandra Cain as well. And Ewan McGregor joined the cast as Gotham City villain Black Mask.
The Birds of Prey movie is scheduled to hit theaters on Feb. 7, 2020.
