Chinese fans got a treat for New Years as the main cast of Birds of Prey celebrated with sparklers in a new video.
As New Years is rolling out across the world, the Chinese got an early surprise of a video showing the five main characters celebrating with sparklers and wearing 2020 themed eye-wear.
We do have to love that Rosie Perez’s sparkler seems to die first and she’s a bit lost as to what to do about it.
With only about six weeks left to go before Birds of Prey hits theaters, we’re imagining we’ll be seeing a lot more marketing beginning to hit. The film recently earned an R rating for violence and other content, and long-range tracking is pointing to a $49 million dollar opening weekend in the U.S.
Birds of Prey (And the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) will be the first appearance of Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn since Suicide Squad. She will be joined by Mary Elizabeth Winstead as the Huntress, while Jurnee Smollett-Bell will be playing Black Canary. Rosie Perez will be playing Renee Montoya, and Ella Jay Basco as Cassandra Cain as well. And Ewan McGregor joined the cast as Gotham City villain Black Mask.
The Birds of Prey movie is scheduled to hit theaters on Feb. 7, 2020.
