Farell has been rumored for the role since early Nov. 2019, and then things went a bit quiet on the news. There has already been one set photo that led to some speculation he was on set, but it also could just be a man with an umbrella. We just don’t know yet.
Farrell will be joining Robert Pattinson as Batman, Zoe Kravitz as Catwoman, Paul Dano as The Riddler, Andy Serkis as Alfred Pennyworth, John Turturro as Carmine Falcone, and Jeffrey Wright as Commissioner Gordon.
Filming is already underway with a few batches of The Batman set photos already cropping up. Be sure to keep checking back for more.
The Batman is scheduled to hit theaters on June 25, 2021.
