Flash movie will feature a different version of Flashpoint

Put on your thinking caps as it sounds like we may need to be pondering what exactly a “different version” of Flashpoint may look like.

Andrés Muschietti hasn’t had the directing job on The Flash movie for very long, but it appears that he is already giving it a lot of thought. Speaking with That Hashtag Show, he confirmed that he would be spending the majority of 2020 working on the film, and it sounds as though he has an idea of what the story will be.

According to Muschietti, you will see a “different version of Flashpoint than you’re expecting.” What exactly that means is, of course, what will be debited from now and until the film is released. Pulling off a full Flashpoint at this juncture would be difficult due to the divisions in the DC film universe, so perhaps it will just focus more on his own life. Or it could just feature the heroes that were in Justice League with him that are still in movies. We simply don’t know at this point.

We’ll just have to wait and see, but it’s good to see some movement happening on this film once again.
