Zoe Kravitz is out on the promotional circuit for her High Fidelity series on Hulu, and the conversation is naturally turning to her role as Catwoman.

While the hunt for an actor to play Batman is always a lengthy process, picking his Rogue’s Gallery can be just as difficult. Every hero has their archenemies, but we feel fairly safe in saying that none are as close to household names as Batman’s. Reeves is using multiple villains for The Batman, so we can only imagine trying to juggle all of them. Add in the romantic aspect of finding a Catwoman, and it could be maddening for anyone.

After a lengthy casting process, Matt Reeves announced Kravitz as Catwoman last Oct.

Kravitz has been fairly quiet about the role since the announcement, but the High Fidelity promotional circuit has provided a chance to discuss it. Speaking with Ellen Degeneres, Kravitz said she was about to depart for London to begin filming on the project. She also that she has gone through “many” costume fittings and that she had been training hard. “It’s very physical. I just come home limping every day,” said the actress.

Filming on The Batman began last week in London. So far we have seen a lot of Gotham City Police Department action, and a possible sighting of Robert Pattinson, but not much else.

The Batman will see Robert Pattinson as Batman, Kravitz as Catwoman, Paul Dano as The Riddler, Colin Farrell as the Penguin, Andy Serkis as Alfred Pennyworth, John Turturro as Carmine Falcone, and Jeffrey Wright as Commissioner Gordon.
