It’s official, Superman is flying to The CW to get his own series in Superman & Lois.
News came down last Oct. that The CW was actively developing a new Superman series that would see Tyler Hoechlin and Elizabeth Tulloch playing the titular Superman & Lois in the series. Hoechlin has been part of the Arrowverse since season 2 of Supergirl, while Tulloch began playing Lois during the Elseworlds crossover.
With Supergirl already well established in the Arrowverse, we won’t be too surprised to see them share characters here and there as needed. And as for established Superman characters such as Lex Luthor (Jon Cryer), we imagine we’ll be seeing a bit more of them throughout this series.
The series will be from Berlanti Productions in association with Warner Bros. Television. No word yet if it will debut in the fall or aim for mid-season of the 2020/2021 television season.
