There has been a lot of speculation as of late whether or not Colin Farrell was already sporting his Penguin hair in public, and had already been on set of The Batman. It seems that neither of these things were accurate.
Originally a man with white hair was spotted on the set of The Batman holding an umbrella. Recently, Farrell was spotted in public with white hair leading many to believe there was a connection and he would be playing a version of Emperor Penguin. He has now appeared on Ellen and stated that the hair was something he had done for fun, and he was now back to his usual darker hair.
He also confirmed that he has yet to start working on The Batman and isn’t due to start for another two weeks. Seeing as this interview was probably filmed on Monday or Tuesday, we would say that places his start dart around the week of Feb. 3.
This revelation about Farrell’s hair leaves us back at square one as to what his Penguin will look like. Now we can’t wait to see what the final costume is!
The Batman will hit theaters on June 25, 2021.
