If you’re hoping to see Nathan Fillion spill who he is playing in The Suicide Squad, don’t hold your breath.

Unless you want to watch him cry.

When the massive cast list was announced for The Suicide Squad, James Gunn opted to not reveal what role each actor was playing. With the exception of the obvious returning characters, the majority of the new roles are mysteries.

In particular, a lot of discussions focused on Nathan Fillion and a persistent rumor has been he would be playing Arm-Fall-Off-Boy. Well, about the only piece of information you can get out of Fillion so far is that is the role he is not playing.

Appearing on SiriusXM this week, Fillion discussed those rumors as well as the secrecy surrounding the role.

If anyone can get him to cry on camera as your guesses get to close, please make sure to share it online.

The Suicide Squad will feature Margot Robbie (Harley Quinn), Viola Davis (Amanda Waller), Joel Kinnaman (Flagg), Jai Courtney (Captain Boomerang) returning from Suicide Squad. Newcomers to the franchise will include David Dastmalchian, John Cena, Joaquin Cosio, Nathan Fillion, Mayling Ng, Flula Borg, Sean Gunn, Juan Diego Botto, Storm Reid, Pete Davidson, Taika Waititi, Alice Braga, Steve Agee, Tinashe Kajese, Daniela Melchior, Peter Capaldi, Julio Ruiz, Jennifer Holland, Idris Elba, and Michael Rooker.

The Suicide Squad will hit theaters on Aug. 6, 2021.
