The cast of The Batman has reportedly grown by two as twins Max and Charlie Carver have reportedly joined the production.
Receiving their start on Desperate Housewives, the Carvers have gone on to work together as twins in two other series: Teen Wolf and the Leftovers. Both have also worked independently in various television and film projects.
According to a report from the AV Club, the Carver twins have joined The Batman in unknown roles. There are, of course, multiple twin roles from Batman history that they could play. Most famously there are Tweedledum and Tweedledee who are most commonly associated with the Mad Hatter. Other possibilities include the henchmen Max and Min, as well as the Trigger Twins.
There is always the possibility they are playing something completely original, but we just don’t know at this point.
The Batman will see Robert Pattinson as Batman, Zoe Kravitz as Catwoman, Paul Dano as The Riddler, Colin Farrell as the Penguin, Andy Serkis as Alfred Pennyworth, John Turturro as Carmine Falcone, and Jeffrey Wright as Commissioner Gordon.
The Batman will hit theaters on June 25, 2021.
